Ok, no, this is not what I meant but, if you want to carry your pooch for a little extra weight training go for it :) My four legged friend is quickly becoming one of my best running partners. He is always ready to go when you are, no guilt if you have to cancel on him at the last minute and he is happy no matter what distance we go. So how does one keep both you and your dog fit? 1) Breakfast- It truly is the most important meal of the day. Eating a light 2-300 calorie breakfast before any type of exercise will jump start your metabolism for the day.
