11 steps to stop putting off what you can do today…

All of us put things off from time to time….Others put things off forever…I like to get the bad stuff over with first and then move onto what I really enjoy! Here is a list from my friend Dana over at Rockit Mom on how to get organized and get things done:

  1. Write it down (nothing feels better than crossing something off of a to-do list)
  2. Chose only one goal to attain
  3. Educate your on your goal
  4. Write it down. Be realistic. Make it achievable.
  5. Be Realistic. Make it achievable
  6. Broadcast to the public, put it on Twitter, Facebook and tell your friends to hold you accountable.
  7. Speaking of friends, don’t do it alone. Recruit a partner
  8. Ignore the obstacles and Do it!
  9. Do it again, again and again. Repetition will make it easier. Failure will occur, overcome it.
  10. Reward yourself. Little accomplishments must be celebrated (this is my personal favorite)
  11. Do it immediately. Procrastination is your enemy!

The year is almost over….It is time to finish strong, it is time to finish what you started 10 months ago!

The Thanksgiving Shuffle is our November Play List…

This month is inspired by one of the songs on the playlist, “Cupid Shuffle” by Cupid.
I dare you to listen to this song and not start showing yourswagger.  It’s the perfect song to pull up on your iPod when your batteries are running low at 3 in the afternoon and you’re pulling into Starbucks for a pick me up. Or more so, when you are at mile 3 or 4 and you are fighting to urge to walk a few steps. Now get out and go!
