Do you need to be held accountable?

The power of accountability…

It’s amazing what having a community/support group can do for you. One of the reasons we kept our race virtual is so that anyone can run it from anywhere in the world! We like to keep you connected via the internet. All of us need a little motivation at some point. Why not ask for motivation in a group that is willing to help other like minded individuals out.  For the Joggermom Marathon we use hashtag #JoggermomMarathon on Twitter or you can post your daily workout to our Facebook page. We even have a forum for those of you that have questions about the race or that are looking for running partners. Our goal is to get everyone to finish running 26.2 miles in the month of May (31 days). Once you commit yourself be prepared to have us contact you with weekly newsletters and daily tidbits about the race socially. We are here to make you feel guilty all day if you do not run. haha!! This is a very achievable goal for everyone. Start slow and finish big! Continue reading “Do you need to be held accountable?” »

for most of us, unfortunately. The percentage of overweight children in the
United States is growing at an alarming rate, with 1 out of 3 kids now
considered overweight or obese. Continue reading “How to keep your family fit & active” »

Looking to take a few pictures this Holiday? My favorite pictures are the ones with children and that surprised look they get on their faces as they open that special gift or the one where a jogger becomes a runner and finishes her first race!
